Sitting here working furiously at the computer on this very hot Sunday, feeling frazzled and stressed and oh-my-god-what-have-I-let-myself-in-for and then I get an email about my VERY FIRST BOOKING for the show! Talk about exciting! 10am, Saturday 3rd March, J is coming to see the show! It makes it all real, having a booking!

Making an exhibition is such weird combo of ego, bravado, experience, real belief in yourself and your ability to execute your ideas, and the willingness to take risks. Step out on the edge of that tightrope and bloody well walk it until you get to the other side...
RIght now, I'm in the real making-it-happen phase of the show. I've been slowly pottering away on lots and lots of new artwork for at least a year. Now I need to do the hard work of choosing what goes in the show, making this crazy mo-fo selfportrait in 3D come together.
Organisation is key. So is the taking time to breathe...
