Feather, 2021 is the last in a series of three artworks I made of the same feather, three years apart . Feather, 2019 is fierce and strong and determined. Feather, 2020 is soft and gentle and vulnerable - a portrait of me deeply in love. Feather 2021 symbolises hope. It’s my safe and still point in a turning world.

The three feathers work gorgeously as a triptych.

This series of Feathers looks stunning together. There’s only one Feather 2020 left, so only one chance to do a triptych. Below is a photograph of them together, roughly perched on an old cabinet in my studio.
