Got an email from N this morning, and she articulated something so beautifully about why she bought this particular artwork that I thought I'd share it.
"This piece really spoke to me - not only about the love that I have for my whānau 24/7 but equally the unrelenting nature of parenting. It's like the ying and the yang of it all."
That's so bang on. About parenting. About life in bloody general. It's what I try for in my work: to walk tightropes, to show the tightropes. To talk about ying-yang line we all walk between the the beauty AND the difficulty inherent in every single life. Hell, in every single day. Light and dark. Storms and sunshine.Tears and delight in equal measure to the other when looked at from a distance, but felt so fiercely in the moment that it seems like only tears, or only delight.
That's life, eh. 24/7 365.

FRAMING:
All framing prices are for framing with conservation methods and museum glass, by an expert framer.
This artwork will be framed with a white overmatt and black frame. If you’d like something different, email me to discuss.
Limited Edition Print
A Limited Edition is, as it suggests, a print made in a limited edition. In this case, 25. That means only 25 of these artworks go out into the world. Each artwork is signed, dated and numbered, with a small amount of drawing in pencil highlighting elements already in the work, making each print in the edition in effect unique.

Small, A3: Paper size: 29 x 42 cm [Approx framed size: 47x48cm]
Medium, A2: Paper size: 42 x 59 cm [Approx. framed size: 65x66cm]
Large, A1: 59 x 84 cm
XLarge, AO: 84 x 119 cm
* Note that the size of the image within the paper varies, according to shape and size of the individual artwork. A white border is left around each artwork to allow for handling..
Print only or Framed
Choose from Print only or Framed option. Prints are framed, overmatted or float-mounted, in a black or white frame. Framing is done by a professional framer, using archival production methods and materials, and with very high quality museum glass [except for if you choose the small frame with clear-glass option].
Timeframes
My studio prints are made to order. The approximate turnaround time for unframed prints is 2 weeks, for framed artwork 5-8 weeks. If you need your artwork for a particular date, please let me know at the time you order, and I'll do my best to make that happen!
