NOTES TO WORK
POETIC 23 August, 2023
[Words hand-written on the bottom of each print]
Because we should all be queen of our own fcking country.
It’s hard
to hold on
to your self
in the midst
of a
storm.
But I can see
the shape of me
peering through
the wreckage,
holding her ground.
That’s enough
for now.
I’ll take
the win.
[BTW: the numbers on her face, 83555, stand for QUEEN]
