Notes to the work
We were lying in bed together. I’d had a bit of rough night - a nightmare I think. As we lay there, spooning, he brought his mouth very close to my ear, and said the most beautiful things to me. Told me of the way I delighted him, of the ways that he loved me. I never wanted to forget it, so I made this artwork to remind me.
The house is us a representation of us together, the tally marks are the words he said, the silver which flickers in the light is how my heart beats for him. The rough texture in the background the imperfect perfect of this life, which is a backdrop to our imperfect perfect love.

Framing is done by a professional framer, using archival production methods and materials, and with very high quality museum glass. Timeframes
My artworks are made to order. The approximate turnaround time for unframed prints is 2 weeks, for framed artwork 5-8 weeks. If you need your artwork for a particular date, please let me know at the time you order, and I'll do my best to make that happen!
