Description
This original print is acrylic paint, gold leaf, gold paint, silver paint, pencil, pen on archival photographic print.
Every artwork in this edition is very purposefully not the same, but with the essential elements remaining there. You are getting a cross between a photographic print and an original painting.
This artwork is available in one size only, AO X-Large [framed 117 x 93]. Five in the edition, two left available.

We just love her so much, I was sitting in the lounge last night working and the dining room was in darkness but the gold and all the etched figure looked like they were dancing in the shimmer of the gold in the faint light, is incredible how the angles and light work with that paint.

The artwork below is the first “it’s beautiful here in the light, 2020” original painting I did, now sold to a collector in Wellington. This artwork was done with white and gold paint, painted onto the glass of the photographic print of “the road I’m on, 2016”. Look closely and you can see the gravel within the figure.
Here’s “the road I’m on”. The origin photograph which gives shape to “it’s beautiful here in the light”. I was grieving and very lonely when I made this photograph. It’s beautiful here in the light takes the shadow and shows her now golden, standing in the light. Standing in her own self, her own strength.
Print only or Framed
Choose from Print only or Framed option. Prints are framed, overmatted or float-mounted, in a black or white frame. Framing is done by a professional framer, using archival production methods and materials, and with very high quality museum glass. Should you want to explore the option of a different type of frame, email me to discuss it. Bear in mind this may alter the framed price of the artwork.
Timeframes
My artworks are made to order. The approximate turnaround time for unframed prints is 2 weeks, for framed artwork 5-8 weeks. If you need your artwork for a particular date, please let me know at the time you order, and I'll do my best to make that happen!
