Notes to the work: I made this for an exhibition called “it’s a kind of love song”, dedicated to my mother. She was there for me my entire life, and I feel her still, even though she’s gone. I promised my own son I’d be there for him, too. It feels appropriate that in these in situ shotd, they are in a teenager’s bedroom, acting as a note and reminder of his mother’s love.
