Notes to the work:  I had a red rose from my garden on the table in my workroom. Eventually, the petals began to fall. To make this artwork, I arranged the petals on a scrap of paper in a manner which felt like was in shape my heart was in. I then drew some marks in charcoal on the paper. Two lines for me and my Mum and how she was beside me all the days of my life. I then photographed the wee scene I had made, worked on it extensively in Photoshop to create the tones of grey, the
